During a four-week collaboration with Nature Trust – FEE Malta, I utilized drone photogrammetry and remote sensing to survey six Natura 2000 parks, supporting conservation efforts like mapping erosion at Xrobb l-Għaġin and designing sustainable access at Il-Magħluq ta’ Marsaskala.

In my recent project, "A Common Tragedy," I explored how colonial cartography disrupted Indigenous ecological knowledge in the Mid-Atlantic U.S., analyzing historical maps and advocating for reimagined cartographic practices to restore traditional land management techniques and cultural heritage.

How I blend my passion for geography with photography by using my studies to help capture the unique stories of our landscapes.

In a recent project, I utilized aerial imagery to analyze Malta's ecosystems to geospatially assess environmental changes and aid in better conservation strategies.

In the 2023–2024 edition of JMU's Geogazine, I contributed as a feature photographer and writer, collaborating with the team to highlight the achievements and stories within our Geography program and the broader Harrisonburg community. This includes “The Blue Ridge Mountains” and “JMU Geography Career Corner”.

In April 2024, I joined a fellow JMU student on a journey to Vermont’s Mount Pisgah, where we braved snow-covered trails to witness the breathtaking total solar eclipse in its full, awe-inspiring glory.

In the 2022–2023 edition of JMU's Geogazine, I authored this photo essay on the EJC Arboretum through the seasons to show an intense variation in forest ecology throughout the 365 days.
